A day programme for teenage organists aiming for an organ scholarship at university or cathedral, or simply wishing to gain experience in conducting and accompanying choirs.
We are based at Merton College a historic and idyllic place. Be amongst the first to play its spectacular, brand-new 3-manual Chapel organ made by Dobson, Iowa, USA to celebrate Merton's 750th anniversary. We shall also use some of the other fine organs in college chapels.

WHAT TO PREPARE
One or more organ pieces by J S Bach.
Bring other repertoire on which you are currently working, some of which can be used as pre- and post- service voluntaries at choral evensong.
Learn to sing your voice part in the music for choral evensong (listed below with download links).
Learn one or more accompaniments of the music for choral evensong and be ready to play it on the day.
Prepare to conduct one or more of the pieces for choral evensong (don't worry if you have never conducted before, we will help you get started!)
