This class will allow you to explore any organ pieces based on chorale melodies on the colourful and expressive Hradetzky organ in St Salvator's Chapel. Henry Fairs, Visiting Professor of Organ at the University of St Andrews and Associate Head of Organ Studies at Birmingham Conservatoire, brings his insight and expertise to this wide-ranging repertoire.
There are four places available for performers. Please bring a piece which you are working on that is based on a chorale melody (from any period), and let us know the composer and the title when you apply. If you don't wish to play, observers' places are available at a reduced price.
