Study trip to Paris and Rouen

Monday 27th May 2024 (13:30) – Wednesday 29th May 2024 (17:30)
Paris and Rouen

The French Romantic organ is one of the most compelling of organ building styles and one that inspired the composing of equally compelling repertoire. Course leader Richard Brasier has put together an itinerary which covers the entire period, from the earliest years of the 19th century through to the beginning of the 20th.

Places are available for both players (maximum of eight) and observers (maximum of four). RCO members enjoy a period of priority booking up to and including 14 January after which booking opens to non-members too. Click here to read about the benefits of RCO membership and to join on line. This study trip is fully booked. Look out for details of a study trip to Arnstadt in the autumn.

Update 22.1.24: one place for a player has just become available. All observer places have been sold. Click here to send an email [events @ rco.org.uk] to ask to be added to the waiting list, specifying which type of place you are interested in.

Click here for the full itinerary. Repertoire suggestions for each instrument for players to prepare will be available on this web page in early 2024.
