Teenage organists who are coming on or considering The Organ Student Experience (TOSE) course in Cambridge in the summer will find this an excellent preparatory day, whilst those not quite ready for TOSE or unable to attend will benefit from the focussed tuition across a range of discplines which organists need to master. For c. grade 5 level and above. Scroll to the bottom of the page to book on line.

What you can expect from this day
Two sessions of repertoire coaching on Baroque and later music
Coaching on keyboard skills such as sight reading, transposition and score reading
A session on church service playing

The teachers
Daniel Moult, head of the organ department at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and one of the UK's most respected teachers and recitalists. Daniel is also artistic director for the TOSE course.
Simon Williams, director of the RCO's East, South, and South West region and, until recently, director of music at St George's Church, Hanover Square, London W1

The organs

Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street—two-manual  1991 William Drake, a refined instrument built in the English 18th-century style (but with pedals) 

What to prepare
One or more pieces by a Baroque composer/Baroque composers
One or more pieces by a composer/composers from the nineteenth century to the present day
A hymn or anthem/service accompaniment (optional)
