Teachers
Daniel Moult
: TOSE co-director Dan is one of the most profile and celebrated organists in the UK. Based in London, he performs, records, and gives masterclasses around the world. Dan directs the highly acclaimed organ department at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and is passionate about teaching the next generation of musicians.

Erwan le Prado: One of the greatest living French organists and pedagogues! Erwan is professor at the conservatoire in Caen, organist of the Abbey there, and in international demand as a concert player and competition juror. His teaching is engaging and well-informed, with never a dull moment!

Darius Battiwalla: A superbly versatile and very popular musician, Darius has a dazzling career as organist, conductor and arranger including a role as Leeds City Organist. His organ teaching has won him many plaudits for his authoritative, friendly insight, with a wealth of conservatoire experience behind him. Another new face for TOSE.

Katelyn Emerson: Katelyn has “taken the organ world by storm” (Diapason magazine). A very bright star of the next generation, with a busy international schedule of concerts and classes. Katelyn is currently undertaking a PhD at Cambridge—we welcome her to TOSE for the first time.

William Fox: The stellar acting organist and assistant director of music at St Paul’s Cathedral and soon-to-be Director of Music at St Albans Cathedral, Will is in huge musical demand and has an enviable string of broadcasts and experience under his belt. His organ accompanying classes at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire have been a big hit, and we look forward to welcoming him to TOSE.

Esther Jones: We are delighted to welcome Esther back as the TOSE choral director—she was even able to work her magic when she directed us online during lockdowns! Esther is hugely in demand throughout the UK as a choral director, conductor, and adjudicator.

David Pipe: David is a Northern powerhouse, transforming organ education through his pioneering work in the Diocese of Leeds. Cathedral organist, popular soloist (including his Huddersfield Town Hall tenureship), teacher and RCO examiner, we are delighted to have him on board TOSE for the first time.

Simon Williams: Simon is Director of the RCO's East, South, and South West regions with additional responsibility for the College's national events and Accredited Teachers' programme.
