Bach was noted for his prowess on the pedals (amongst so much else!)
This class, on the exciting new organ at Manchester Cathedral, is for anyone who enjoys the music of Bach and his immediate predecessors such as Buxtehude. There will be a particular emphasis on the more flamboyant end of the repertoire. Dr John Scott Whiteley is noted for his interpretations of Bach, and performed the complete works on BBC TV some years ago: http://www.johnscottwhiteley.com/about-project
