This free Play the Organ Year Workshop, promoted by the Royal College of Organists and taking place on International Organ Day, is open to all irrespective of age or whether or not you have any previous musical experience. You will learn how 'The King of Instruments' makes sounds from the quietest whisper to the loudest roar and there will be an opportunity, if you wish, to have a go at playing yourself - even if you are a complete beginner.
The workshop is led by internationally renowned performer and teacher Jermiah Stephenson, Associate Director of Music at All Saints' Church Margaret Street and Organ Education lead at St Paul's Cathedral. Why not stay on for Jeremiah's recital at 16.00 (ends c. 17.00, admission free/retiring collection). Refreshments will be available between the workshop and the recital and after the recital.
Reserve your free place at https://ptoybloomsbury.eventbrite.co.uk/ or just turn up on the day. Email events [@] rco.org.uk with any questions.
