Bingham, Fricker and Reger explored in RCO Journal 2015

The 2015 edition of the Royal College of Organists’ annual research publication, RCO Journal, has been published.

The RCO Journal Vol. 9 features articles on the organ music of Judith Bingham (by Stephen Farr), Peter Racine Fricker (by Richard Moore) and, ahead of the centenary of his death next year, Max Reger (by Christopher Anderson).

There are also articles by Tom Wilkinson on the musical influences on the young J.S. Bach, and by Jonathan Ambrosino on Ralph Downes and the influence on his work of his US period – a paper given at an RCO-sponsored event at the Royal Festival Hall in 2014.

RCO Journal Vol. 9 is available to RCO members in the Academic Resources pages of the RCO website (www.rco.org.uk/academic_resources_journal.php) or in print on request, and without charge, from the College Administration (admin@rco.org.uk or 05603 488231). Please note that the Journal will be sent automatically to Members who have requested a print copy in previous years.
