RCO Journal Vol. 10 now available
Vol. 10 of the Royal College of Organists’ annual research publication, RCO Journal, has been published.
The RCO Journal 2016, Vol. 10 features articles on Froberger’s fantasias and ricercars (by Terence Charlston), William Sterndale Bennett (by Christopher Kent), and Sidney Scholfield Campbell (by Relf Clark).
Thomas Allery has authored an introduction to eighteenth-century figured bass treatises, Robert Gower contributes a note on the Percy Whitlock Trust, and RCO Past President Catherine Ennis takes a look back at
Organ, In Sanity and Madness – the spectacular 1966 event at which the RCO celebrated its 100th anniversary.
RCO Journal Vol. 10 is available as a .pdf download via the College’s virtual campus iRCO (
i.rco.org.uk). The download is free of charge to College members, or for £7.99 to guest users. Individual Journal articles, along with archive Journals stretching back to 2007 are also available via iRCO.
The Journal is also available in print by request, free of charge to members or £11.99 to non-members. Contact the College Administration (
