Peter Williams memorial recital


An organ recital in memory of former RCO vice-president Peter Williams will be performed at St George’s Church, Hanover Square, London on Thursday 24th May.

The concert features David Ponsford, with the programme shared at the nomination of the College by FRCO prize winner Ghislaine Reece-Trapp.

The Richard’s, Fowkes & Co. organ (2012) at St George’s was much admired by Peter Williams and is ideal for the music of his beloved J. S. Bach. The programme will comprise:

Suite Médiévale en forme de messe basse

Fuga a 5 con pedale pro organo pleno (BWV 552/2)

The concert, which is free with a retiring collection, starts at 7pm and will be followed by a drinks reception in the church.
