Director of Music

A growing, inclusive and diverse fellowship of Christians, rooted in the catholic tradition, seek a Director of Music who will be responsible for high quality music and the development of a robed children’s choir, drawing from St John’s Primary School.

Seeking:

? a liturgically aware, imaginative, creative and reliable professional

A new part-time post with remuneration at RSCM rates. This post is subject to safer recruitment procedures. Watford only 15 mins from London Euston, has excellent road, rail and tube links.

Permanent Organist / Choir Director St Mary's Church Lymm Cheshire

To play hymns/songs, responses, voluntaries 10.00am Sunday services plus specific other services (e.g. Ash Wednesday. Direct Adult Choir of 10 Rehearsals Thursday 6.30pm-7.45pm. Opportunity to develop junior choir via schools. Hugh Banton built organ 3 manual with 51 speaking stops. Also a moveable keyboard for choir rehearsal, morning services. £3000pa. Extra fees £80 per weddings (5 booked in 2020-£400pa) £70 Funerals (e.g. 7-£490pa) Total estimated earnings £4000pa. Six Sundays off (and equivalent rehearsals)pa expected to find and pay for cover at the current rate of £50 per service
