Dunkeld Church of Scotland is looking for an experienced Organist and Director of Music. This is a part-time appointment. Dunkeld Cathedral has a Bevington organ and a digital piano. Little Dunkeld has a pipe organ requiring attention and an acoustic piano. There is a small choir and small band of enthusiastic musicians who participate regularly in worship.
The salary is in alignment with the salary scale of the Scottish Federation of Organists,

The Organist and Director of Music will both play the organ and direct the Parish Choir on Sunday mornings and at other special services, leading singing rehearsals before services.
We are looking to grow our musical ministry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and mentoring an organ scholar and four choral scholars to start in Autumn 2027. We expect the new postholder to continue building our community musical outreach, such as Come & Sing Events, and to encourage increased participation of children and young people in the church's choral music

Organist and Choir leader, St Paul's Church, East Molesey, Surrey. (SW London borders). Part-time post £80 per Sunday service (3 per month) £40 choir rehearsals, plus wedding, funeral fees and extra seasonal services. Lead a small enthusiastic adult choir, play for Sunday worship in a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. Competent organist/pianist and encouraging choir trainer. Rogers digital organ: three manuals, professional amplification.
Carol Services: Traditional repertoire. Mass Settings: George Malcolm’s Missa ad Praesepe; Mozart’s Missa brevis in C, K220 (Sparrow).
Rehearsals: November 27 morning or afternoon TBC; December 16, 10.30am to 5.30pm-flexibility available.
Liturgies: November 29, 3.30pm; December: 18, 7.15pm, 24, 9.30pm, 25, 11am.
UK based organists welcome; no additional travel funding, although accommodation is available before and after both rehearsals and liturgies, with dedicated secure parking.
